Andrew Clyde Martin, a 31-year-old Black/African American man, was fatally shot on May 18, 2025, outside a home in the 5500 block of North Iroquois Avenue in Glendale, just north of Milwaukee. The shooting unfolded after a day of growing tension between Martin and John Sweeney, the owner of the house where Martin's girlfriend was renting a room. By the end of the night, Martin was lying mortally wounded in the driveway and Sweeney was in police custody.
