In the dim early hours of August 3, 2025, Fort Worth police were called to the 1700–1800 block of East Robert Street, where they found 25-year-old Aliyah Rayann Miles, a woman, shot multiple times inside a vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene, and a second woman who had been in the car was taken to a hospital with gunshot wounds. The Tarrant County medical examiner later identified the victim as Aliyah Rayann Miles, age 25, from Fort Worth.
