In the late summer of 2025, the life of Lonnie Montgomery, a 39-year-old Black / African American man, was cut short in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. On the evening of August 25th, Montgomery was fatally shot at 2212 N. 12th St. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office subsequently ruled his death a homicide. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear, and details about what led to the tragic event have not been publicly released.
