In the summer of 2021, a Saturday afternoon on the north side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin was shattered by an act of gun violence that ended the life of Rayzon T. Christian, a 23-year-old Black/African American man. On June 26th, in the Lincoln Creek neighborhood, Christian was discovered in the driver's seat of a car near the intersection of 48th Street and West Hampton Avenue. A single bullet hole was visible on the driver's side door, a stark indicator of the tragic events that had unfolded.
