Breiner Andres Castro Jaramillo, 22, a male Hispanic/Latino from Auburn, was killed in a drive-by shooting on the evening of June 26, 2025, while traveling northbound on State Route 167 near milepost 12 by Ellingson Road/Algona. Troopers responding just before 7:30 p.m. found him alone in a silver Toyota Prius on the shoulder; he had been shot multiple times while driving in the center lane.
