Emani Letreo Ricks, a 22-year-old African American male, was tragically killed in a shooting incident on March 31, 2019, in Durham, North Carolina. The incident occurred in a business parking lot located in the 2000 block of Chapel Hill Road. According to police reports, the shooting was reported just after 4 p.m., and upon arrival, officers found Emani Letreo Ricks with an apparent gunshot wound. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
