On the evening of July 14, 2025, in Kent, Washington, 46-year-old Migna Elizabeth Kennebrew was fatally shot in an apartment complex on the 22400 block of Benson Road SE. Police responded to the scene around 8:37 p.m. following reports of an argument and the sound of gunshots. Upon arrival, they discovered another victim, 34-year-old Gary Lee Winston, lying deceased on a walkway outside an apartment.
