Eric Hicks, a 33-year-old man, was found stabbed to death along a northeast Albuquerque bike path on September 15, 2017. A passerby discovered him near Candelaria Road and Richmond Drive, a stretch of trail that threads quietly between neighborhoods and businesses before dawn brings traffic. Police said the position of his body and the wounds suggested a brutal, personal attack; in public briefings that fall, they also noted his killing resembled two other stabbings of men found outdoors that su ...
