On a warm Labor Day, the life of 27-year-old Jaime Garcia-Garnica, a Hispanic male, was tragically cut short in a shooting in Yakima, Washington. The incident occurred in the 1800 block of Cornell Avenue on September 1, 2025. When police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Garcia-Garnica with a gunshot wound. Despite their efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene before he could be transported to a hospital.
