On the night of September 12, 2025, police were called to an apartment complex in the 200 block of Bostic Drive in Longview after reports of gunfire. Officers arrived around 10:31 p.m. and found two male victims with gunshot wounds. One was taken to a hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening. The other, Jonathan Lee, male, of Lakeport, Texas, was pronounced dead at the scene by a Gregg County Justice of the Peace. Investigators initially described the shooting as the result of a ...
