Tyson Laquay Patterson, a 33-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 28, 2014, in Longview, Texas. The incident occurred at an apartment building on South Green Street at Garfield Drive. Patterson was fatally shot during an altercation that also left another man injured. The surviving victim recounted that a man accompanied by three women arrived at the apartment.
