Dominique Anderson, 26, a Black man from Dayton, was discovered in the trunk of a burning car in the early morning hours of June 1, 2025. Fire crews and police were called around 3:35 a.m. to the 2000 block of West Grand Avenue, where the flames revealed a body later identified by the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office as Anderson.
