Lynn Shackelford, a 60-year-old man from Dayton, Ohio, tragically lost his life on October 28, 2016. Shackelford was shot during an attempted robbery at his apartment on Summit Square Drive. He succumbed to his injuries the following day. The incident occurred when Shackelford was running a store out of his apartment, and the assailant, Ralphiel Marciano Harris, attempted to rob him.
