Eric Johnson, 53, a male from Union, South Carolina, was Black. On the evening of Friday, July 18, 2025, around 7:30 p.m., officers were called to West Henrietta Street in Union after reports of gunfire. They found Eric Johnson lying in a field near South Pinckney Street with a gunshot wound. He was taken to Spartanburg Medical Center, where he later died.
