In the late hours of a warm Saturday evening in East Nashville, a community block party on Oakwood Avenue, filled with the sounds of music and laughter, turned into a scene of tragedy. On August 2, 2025, amidst the celebration, gunfire suddenly erupted, causing chaos and panic among the partygoers. It was during this pandemonium that 20-year-old Nevaeh Wilson, a resident of Nashville, was tragically killed.
