Luis Fernando Carranza, 24, a Hispanic/Latino male from Denton, was shot and killed after a late-night confrontation that began as a right-of-way dispute in a gas station parking lot near the 300 block of W. Eagle Drive. Around 12:58 a.m., a 911 caller reported a fight and then gunfire; officers arrived to find Carranza wounded and rushed him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
