Jimmy Castro-Almazan, a 21-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically shot and killed on December 15, 2014, in Denton, Texas. The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of Paco Trail. According to reports, a witness heard gunshots and found Castro-Almazan lying on the ground. He was transported to Denton Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Castro-Almazan leaves behind a wife and an 18-month-old daughter.
