Anthony Harris, 24, male, was shot in the early morning hours of September 29, 2025, at a convenience store in the 700 block of Ann Arbor Avenue in Dallas’ east Oak Cliff. Officers were dispatched around 1:40 a.m.; by the time police arrived, they found him wounded, and he was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after. The Dallas County medical examiner later identified him as the victim.
According to Dallas police, the case is documented under number 140234-2025.
Detectives said the investigation is ongoing and asked anyone with information to contact Detective Timothy Johnston. Public records listing victims of gun violence also memorialize Harris’ death on that date and location.
Authorities have not announced any arrests. As of the latest updates from police and local news, investigators had not released details about a suspect, potential suspects, or a motive in the shooting.
