Death by Force

Ricky Dixon, a 23-year-old Black male, was killed in the early hours of August 9, 2025, after gunfire erupted at a club on Fuzzy Drive in the Oatland community of Georgetown County, South Carolina. Deputies responded to the scene and later confirmed the victim’s identity through the county coroner. An autopsy was scheduled at the Medical University of South Carolina as investigators canvassed the area and interviewed witnesses to piece together how the shooting unfolded.
