A second victim, 23-year-old Tykese Warren of Greensboro, was found in the vehicle alongside Shawn D. Zimmerman Jr., 19, and taken to a local hospital in critical condition. Days later, police announced that Warren died from his injuries on June 15, 2025, making him the second person to die as a result of the Terrell Drive shooting, while noting again that the investigation was active.
High Point police said the gunfire struck both men multiple times as they sat inside the parked car, and investigators appealed to the public for tips through Crime Stoppers while emphasizing that no one had been taken into custody.
