On the morning of September 16, 2025, 56-year-old male Loren Mathew Morones was discovered dead at his home in the Townville community of Anderson County after his employer arrived to pick him up for work. A 911 call brought responders to the property on Highway 24, where investigators found Loren Mathew Morones with multiple gunshot wounds near a camper on the property.
