In the summer of 2025, a quiet community in Emlenton, Pennsylvania, was shaken by the tragic death of Jamie Alyssa Nevel. A 44-year-old female, Jamie was fatally shot on July 24, 2025, while she was mowing her lawn on Emlenton Clintonville Road in Scrubgrass Township. The incident was the culmination of what neighbors described as a long-simmering property line dispute with her neighbor.
