Morris Foster, 39, a Black male, was found shot to death in southeast Charlotte during a midday double homicide that unfolded around noon on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at an apartment complex in the 7300 block of Pebblestone Drive off East Independence Boulevard. First responders pronounced two people dead at the scene; the other victim was identified in local reporting as 39-year-old Tanether Campbell.
