Direll Skipworth, 49, male, Black/African American, died on August 17, 2025, in Philadelphia after a shooting during a domestic disturbance inside a home on the 1500 block of North Gratz Street in North Philadelphia. Police were called around 9:30 p.m.; responding officers found Direll Skipworth gravely wounded in the home’s vestibule.
