Roberto Car Marroquin-Castro, a Hispanic/Latino male, 46, was found with a gunshot wound shortly after 1:15 a.m. on July 21, 2025, at Rapid Run Park along the 4500 block of Rapid Run Road in Cincinnati’s West Price Hill neighborhood. Responding officers located him in a parking area after reports of shots fired and secured the scene for medics. He was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he died of his injuries.
Investigators with Cincinnati’s Homicide Unit closed portions of the park as they processed the scene.
Police identified the victim as Roberto Car Marroquin-Castro and said he suffered a wound to the chest. He was the only person found at the scene. As of the latest reports on July 21, authorities had not released information about a suspect, and no arrests had been announced.
