On the evening of August 8, 2025, police were called to the 5000 block of South Sedgewick Road in Lyndhurst, a suburb of Cleveland, where they found Dorian Holt, 38, male, lying on the floor of his garage with multiple gunshot wounds. Officers and medics rushed him to Hillcrest Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Local records and memorials mark the date of death as August 8, 2025.
