Raqiese Cohen, 21, a man, was shot on the evening of June 4, 2025, in the courtyard of the Robert Fulton Houses on West 17th Street in Chelsea, Manhattan. Police responded to a 911 call around 9:19–9:20 p.m. and found Cohen unconscious with a gunshot wound to the neck outside 431 West 17th Street, the NYCHA complex where he lived. He was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, where he was pronounced dead.
