Jalesseazay Posey, 22, a male who was Black/African American, was shot in the early morning hours of September 25, 2025, in the 1400 block of Delta Road in Springfield, Ohio, near the Southern Village Shopping Center. Responding officers arrived around 3:10 a.m. and found Jalesseazay Posey, 22, with multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Mercy Health – Springfield, where Jalesseazay Posey, 22, male, was pronounced dead soon after.
