Derek Gonzalez, 32, a Hispanic/Latino male, was shot on the afternoon of May 18, 2025, after a traffic encounter escalated from Grindstone Parkway into the parking lot of the McDonald’s in the 500 block of East Nifong Boulevard in Columbia, Missouri.
