On the night of June 15, 2025, Martisha Hobson, age 45 and female, was found shot to death inside a car at Lucas and Hunt Road and San Diego Avenue in Norwood Court, a small municipality in St. Louis County. Responding officers discovered Martisha Hobson slumped in the passenger seat and pronounced her dead at the scene. The shooting was reported around 9:50 p.m., and investigators identified the incident as a fatal shooting inside the vehicle rather than a street exchange.
