In the early morning hours of Sunday, September 28, 2025, the life of 27-year-old Jamaal George of Jersey City was tragically cut short. Officers from the Jersey City Police Department responded to reports of shots fired in the area of Union Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive shortly after 5 a.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered George with a gunshot wound to his upper body.
