Jordan Mitchell, 21, a Black / African American male from Starkville, Mississippi, died on June 29, 2025, after being shot during a weekend gathering in the Blackjack area off Kincaid Road. He and 18-year-old Kaiden Evans were found with multiple gunshot wounds around 2:30 a.m.; both were taken to OCH Regional Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead.
