Myron D. Jackson, 41, a Black man from Las Vegas, died in the early hours of September 4, 2025, after a tense barricade near the Silver Sevens casino on South Paradise Road. When federal and local officers moved in to arrest him and a woman he was with, Jackson refused to exit a vehicle. After roughly two hours, he shot himself, according to an arrest report later summarized by local authorities.
