A sense of joyful anticipation quickly turned to unimaginable horror at a Detroit playground for 4-year-old Samir Grubbs and his mother, Jasmine. Having just arrived at the Skinner Playfield near Denby High School, the young boy eagerly ran towards the playground equipment. Tragically, he never had the chance to go down the slide.
