In the early morning hours of June 29, 2025, the life of 38-year-old Ashley Nicole Nugent, a lifelong resident of Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana, was tragically cut short. Authorities responded to reports of a shooting at a home on Tau Street in Belle Chasse around 5 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Ms. Nugent's body; she was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical services. The female victim had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
