William Ardith Jackson, 42, a White male from Tawas City, Michigan, vanished late in the morning on July 11, 2025. Two days later, a Department of Natural Resources officer in the Huron National Forest discovered an abandoned pickup whose bed was spattered with a large amount of blood and a rolled-up, blood-soaked carpet.
