Joshua Ancrum, a 17-year-old high school football star from Miami Gardens, Florida, tragically lost his life on May 21, 2019. Ancrum, a junior at Miami Norland High School and a promising cornerback, was fatally shot during an altercation with a childhood friend. The incident occurred around 2 p.m. in the 3400 block of Northwest 207th Street. Ancrum was visiting friends when an argument about a video game escalated into gunfire.
