In the summer of 2025, a senseless act of violence cut short the life of 65-year-old Gregory Hill of Southfield, Michigan. On the afternoon of Thursday, July 31, 2025, Hill was diligently performing his duties as a maintenance worker at the Devon Park Apartments on Crooks Road in Royal Oak.
