In the crisp autumn of 1978, seventeen-year-old Jeannie Smith, a Caucasian female, vanished from her life in Reno, Nevada. She was last seen on October 27th at the Circus-Circus Hotel where she worked. For over a year, her whereabouts remained a mystery, a painful void for those who knew her.
