On June 8, 1991, 27-year-old Ursula Rodewald was murdered while riding in a convertible in Reno, Nevada. She was shot by an individual who was later identified and convicted for the crime. The shooting occurred as Rodewald and a friend were driving, when the assailant, Randell, attacked. Randell was later apprehended and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for her murder, alongside additional sentences for related charges including burglary and robbery.
