A woman is discovered lying dead next to a roadway Tammy Brown, a 36-year-old female of Caucasian/White ethnicity, was last seen on September 22, 2003, walking down East Fourth Street in Reno, Nevada, carrying a suitcase from the address where she had been living with her boyfriend. The next day, September 23, 2003, she was discovered lying next to the roadway in Thomas Creek Canyon, a remote area south of Reno. The location and circumstances of the discovery offered few immediate clues about how she had come to be there.
