A young woman is found murdered 10 days after she vanished
In the early summer of 1980, a 19-year-old Caucasian female named Karin Santos-Coy was embarking on a new chapter in her life in Nevada. Having recently enrolled in automotive training classes at the Sierra Nevada Job Corps in March, she was described as a happy, family-oriented young woman who never caused any trouble.
