A teenage girl's remains are found a day after she vanished while hitchhiking
Cindy Cook, a 16-year-old girl from Lemmon Valley, Nevada, was tragically found murdered on January 25, 1981. The day prior, Cindy had been last seen hitchhiking from her home to a nearby arcade in the Lemmon Valley shopping center. She left her home at approximately 7:00 p.m. and stayed at the arcade until 8:30 p.m., when she played games with friends before heading out. Unfortunately, she never made it back home.
