In the late afternoon of a summer day in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, tragedy struck at the Warwick Apartments on Jefferson Highway. On Sunday, August 3, 2025, a shooting incident shattered the quiet of the apartment complex. Zachary Lewis, a 23-year-old male, was shot at approximately 4:40 p.m. Emergency services were called to the scene, and Lewis was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
