In the early evening of May 26, 2025, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of a New Bedford neighborhood, leaving a young man's life cut tragically short. Kimberl Gedeon, a 21-year-old Black / African American male, was found on the sidewalk at the intersection of Bedford Street and South Seventh Street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
