On Thursday, August 17, 2017, at approximately 2:45 a.m., a tragic incident occurred in New Bedford, Massachusetts, resulting in the death of 33-year-old Marcus A. Roberts. New Bedford Police responded to reports of shots fired outside the Whiskey Lounge Bar, located at 1669 Acushnet Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found Marcus Roberts lying in the street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
