On the evening of Saturday, May 31, 2025, tragedy struck in Springfield, Massachusetts, forever altering the lives of those who knew and loved Trey Palmer. The 27-year-old male from Chicopee was fatally shot in an act of violence that has left a community searching for answers. The incident unfolded at approximately 9:20 p.m. when Springfield Police officers were dispatched to the vicinity of Pearl and Chestnut Streets following reports of gunfire.
