In the early hours of Sunday, May 11, 2025, the life of 18-year-old Sherrod Rondoe Bosher was cut short by gunfire in Richmond, Virginia. A senior at John Marshall High School, the young Black man was just weeks away from his graduation. The incident unfolded around 2:15 a.m. on South 2nd Street, near the James River, where Richmond Police were called to investigate reports of gunfire.
