Jacqueline Ann Rook, a 21-year-old student at the University of California, Santa Barbara, disappeared from the Isla Vista area on November 20, 1976. Jacqueline, originally from Del Mar, California, was a resident advisor at the Francisco Torres dormitory. Her disappearance sparked concern among the university community and her family.
