Mary Ann Sarris, a 19-year-old waitress from Isla Vista, California, tragically lost her life on December 6, 1976. Her death was part of a series of murders that terrorized the University of California, Santa Barbara community during the late 1970s. Sarris, along with two other young women, Jacqueline Rook and Patricia Laney, fell victim to what became known as the "look-alike" murders.
